Terms of Use

Applies to: the RestoMama app for Android and the website at marketplace.restomama.com ("RestoMama"). Effective date: 28 September 2026. Operated by: Priority Queues Pvt Ltd, Door No.463, Thayyil House Vazhukakkode, Anjumoorthy, Palakkad - 678682, India ("we", "us").

By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use RestoMama. You can browse without an account.

1. What RestoMama is (and is not)

RestoMama is a marketplace. It lets you discover independent restaurants, place orders with them, pay, and follow delivery or pickup. The restaurant is the seller of the food. It sets the menu, prices and availability, prepares your order and is responsible for the quality and safety of the food and for the details it shows. Delivery is carried out by a delivery partner assigned through our order system. We do not prepare the food and we do not guarantee any particular restaurant, item or delivery time. Estimated times are estimates.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract in India. Restaurants and prices are shown for locations in India in Indian rupees. Availability, delivery areas and payment options depend on the restaurant and your location.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS or WhatsApp. You must own the number, keep the code and your device secure, and give accurate details. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Do not share your code, create accounts by automated means, or use another person's account.
• You can delete your account any time in Account > Manage account > Delete account, subject to the notice in the Privacy Policy. We may block or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.

4. Placing an order

• Your order is an offer to buy from the restaurant. The restaurant may accept or reject it. Orders are placed only after any online payment succeeds.
• Check your delivery address, contact number, items, notes and total before you place the order. You must be reachable at that number and able to receive the order. Delivery may fail or be cancelled if the address or number is wrong or you do not respond.
• Limits: each order has a maximum value (currently Rs 10,000) and each restaurant may set a minimum order value and a delivery range. Carts hold up to 50 lines and 99 units per line, open carts expire after 14 days.
• You can schedule an order for a later time slot if the restaurant offers it. Scheduled orders follow the restaurant's slots.
• Group orders: the host starts a group order and shares a link; people who join must sign in, add their own items, and see each other's display names and item notes. A group order expires after a set time (24 hours by default) and the host places it.
• Restricted items: tobacco and prescription items cannot be ordered through RestoMama.
• Allergens and dietary marks (for example veg or non-veg) are provided by the restaurant. Ask the restaurant if you have allergies.

5. Prices, fees and payment

• Prices, taxes, delivery fees and any other charges are shown before you pay. The restaurant sets item prices; taxes are shown as required by law.
• You can pay by UPI or card on the payment gateway's own page (we never see or store your card number or UPI PIN), or by cash on delivery or at pickup where the restaurant offers it. Some restaurants may take a manual UPI payment where you submit the transaction reference. Payment gateways have their own terms.
• Cancellations and refunds are described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. Delivery and pickup

Delivery times are estimates. You can follow the order status in the app and, when it is out for delivery, may see the delivery partner's first name and position. You can share a tracking link with someone else; anyone with the link can see the tracking view for that order. For pickup, collect the order from the restaurant using the name you gave. If you are not present to receive a delivery, the order may be cancelled, and any refund follows the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

7. Problems, help and complaints

Use Help on an order within 7 days to report a problem, attach photos and follow the resolution. The Cancellation and Refund Policy explains outcomes. 8. Reviews and other content you post

• You may review an order you placed, within 30 days. A public review has a rating and text (10 to 1000 characters) and up to 5 photos.
• Reviews are checked before they are published. We may reject or remove a review that is off topic, abusive, contains personal information, is spam or advertising, is not about that restaurant, has an inappropriate photo, or comes from someone with a conflict of interest (for example the restaurant's own staff).
• You promise that what you post is true, is yours, and does not break the law or anyone's rights. Do not post other people's personal information.
• You keep your rights, and give us a free, worldwide licence to display, store, and reproduce your review and photos in RestoMama to run and promote the service, for as long as the review is public. Deleting your account removes the text and photos of your reviews, though star ratings keep counting anonymously.
• Your public profile (first name, last initial and reviews) is off unless you turn it on in Account > Privacy.

9. Rules of use

Do not: break the law; harass restaurants, delivery partners or other users; place fake or fraudulent orders or chargebacks; misuse offers; scrape or reverse-engineer RestoMama; interfere with its security or availability; upload malware or content you have no right to; or use RestoMama for any purpose other than personal or business ordering.

10. Our rights in RestoMama

RestoMama, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for their intended purpose. Map data is from OpenStreetMap contributors and is subject to their licence.

11. Third-party services and links

RestoMama relies on third parties (payment gateways, message and push providers, maps, hosting). Their pages and services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them, except where the law says we are.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We may change, pause or stop features (for example because a feature is switched off by platform settings) and may update the app. We try to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

13. Disclaimers and limit of liability

To the extent the law allows: the food, its quality, safety, packaging and any allergen information are the restaurant's responsibility; we are not liable for the restaurant's or delivery partner's acts or omissions except where the law makes us liable; and our total liability to you for a claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before a material change applies. If you keep using RestoMama after the effective date, you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Palakkad, Kerala have jurisdiction, without limiting your rights as a consumer to approach a consumer commission that has jurisdiction over you.
