This page explains how to close your RestoMama Courier account and have the personal data linked to it deleted. It applies to the RestoMama Courier app for Android (package name com.restomama.courier) and the RestoMama Courier web app, which share one account. You do not need to give a reason.

1. How to ask

You can ask in the web app, by email or, from version 1.8.1, in the Android app. Our team handles every request by hand.

A request from the app does not close your account straight away. Your account stays active, and you can keep working, until our team contacts you about the request.

If you need help, call +91 97477 47702 (Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am – 6:30 pm IST). We still need your request in writing.

Uninstalling the app, or signing out, does not delete your account.

2. How we confirm it is you

Before we act, we confirm that the request comes from the account holder. A request made in the app while you are signed in comes from your account, but we still confirm it with you. We contact you on the mobile number registered to your account, and we may ask you to confirm details that only the account holder would know. We never ask for your password, or for a one-time code the app has sent you.

If you no longer have the registered mobile number, tell us in your email. We will ask for other proof that the account is yours.

3. How long it takes

We acknowledge your request within 24 hours. Within 15 days of receiving it, we either complete it or tell you what is preventing us (for example, that we could not confirm it is you, or that something in section 4 is not yet settled) and what you need to do.

4. What must be settled first

Before we close your account, the following must be settled:

If any of these is not yet settled, we still delete straight away the items listed for deletion in section 5 that we do not need to settle it (for example your location history, crash reports, trusted contacts and profile photo). We keep only what we need to settle it, and only until it is settled.

5. What we do when we close your account

6. What we keep, and why

We keep only what the law requires or what we need to defend a legal claim, and only for as long as that lasts.

What we keepWhyHow long
Your registration information, as listed in section 5Rule 3(1)(h) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires us to keep a user's registration information after the registration is cancelled. We do not use it for anything else, except to deal with a legal claim, an investigation or a request from a government authority180 days after your account is closed; then we delete it
Your earnings, cash, deposit and payout records (including photos of deposit receipts), pay statements, and the tax details on them (your legal name and PAN) and tax documentsCompany, tax and accounting laws require us to keep financial recordsEight financial years after the end of the financial year they relate to
A record that your identity was verified: document types, review outcomes and dates, without the imagesTo show whom we paid and that we verified them, for the same financial recordsAs long as those financial records
Identity documents and selfies, and other documents, after the 180 daysOnly if they are needed for a pending legal claim, dispute, investigation, or a request from a government authority, or a law requires us to keep themUntil that need ends; then we delete them
Records of the documents you accepted and the consents you gaveTo show what you agreed to while you had an accountEight financial years after your account is closed
Records of deliveries you made (dates, restaurant, amounts, status history). Once your registration information is deleted, they no longer show your name or contact detailsSo that restaurant and customer order records and our financial records stay completeEight financial years after the end of the financial year of the delivery

Rejected or replaced identity images are already deleted automatically 90 days after rejection or replacement, whether or not you ask.

Copies of deleted data can remain in our database backups until those backups expire under our backup schedule. We do not restore deleted data from backups, except to recover from a system failure, and if we ever have to, we delete your data again.

7. Getting a copy of your data first

If you want a copy of your profile, documents, deliveries or earnings before your account is deleted, ask for it in the web app (Account, then Manage your data, then Request data export), in version 1.8.1 or later of the Android app (Account, then Account data, then Request my data), or say so in your email. The app sends your request to our team; it does not download a file. We will send you what we hold before we delete it.

8. Deleting some data without closing your account

You can do these yourself in the app at any time:

For anything else, write to admin@priorityqueues.com.

9. After your account is closed

You can no longer sign in. If you want to deliver with RestoMama Courier again, you will need to apply afresh.

10. Questions and complaints

Contact our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, as rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires. If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India within 30 days of receiving that decision, as rule 3A of those Rules provides.

From 13 May 2027, if you are not satisfied with our response to a grievance about your personal data, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India using the online complaint facility the Board provides. You must first use our grievance process (section 13(3) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

You can ask for this policy in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India by writing to admin@priorityqueues.com.

The RestoMama Courier Privacy Policy and Delivery Partner Terms are published in the RestoMama legal centre at https://www.restomama.com/policies/.
