1. About these terms

1.1 These terms are a contract between you and Priority Queues for your use of RestoMama Courier: the RestoMama Courier app for Android (package name com.restomama.courier), the RestoMama Courier web app, and the delivery-partner sign-up form on the RestoMama website. They all use the same account, and these terms apply whichever one you use.

1.2 In the app you are asked to accept four documents, one at a time and each in a numbered version:

All four are published in the RestoMama legal centre at https://www.restomama.com/policies/.

1.3 When you accept a document, we record which document you accepted, its version, the date and time, and the IP address our server sees for that request.

1.4 You are asked to accept these terms, and the other documents in section 1.2, in the app during sign-up. We approve an application only after you have accepted these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, do not use RestoMama Courier.

1.5 You can ask for these terms in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India by writing to admin@priorityqueues.com.

2. Words used in these terms

3. Your relationship with us

3.1 You are an independent delivery partner. You are not our employee. Except for collecting cash on delivery on our behalf as set out in section 12, you do not act for us or represent us, and you must not say that you do.

3.2 You decide whether, when and how much to use RestoMama Courier:

3.3 You provide and pay for your own vehicle, fuel, vehicle maintenance, mobile phone, mobile data and delivery equipment, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3.4 You decide how to carry out each delivery, including your route, within these terms and the law.

3.5 The Code on Social Security, 2020 describes platform work as a work arrangement outside a traditional employer–employee relationship. Section 14 explains how that Code applies to you. Nothing in it or in these terms makes you our employee.

4. Who can be a delivery partner

To use RestoMama Courier you must:

5. Application, verification and approval

5.1 Signing up. The app takes you through these steps: your mobile number; your name and a password; your vehicle type and the Insurance Declaration (at this point your account is created and your application is under review); a one-time code sent by WhatsApp to confirm your mobile number; an optional email address, confirmed by a code; your choice about marketing messages; phone permissions; your documents; consent and terms; and a final review. If you start on the sign-up form on the RestoMama website, you complete the remaining steps in the app.

5.2 Documents. The app lists the documents we need and marks which ones are mandatory. We set this list and may change it. Where the app asks for a document number or an expiry date, you must enter it accurately. Uploading a document that is false, altered or not your own is a serious breach of these terms.

5.3 Aadhaar. Providing Aadhaar is optional. If you provide it, enter only a masked Aadhaar number, with the first eight digits hidden; the app does not accept a full, unmasked 12-digit number. Upload only a masked Aadhaar (the version UIDAI lets you download), or cover the first eight digits before you photograph your card. We store the image exactly as you upload it. If all 12 digits can be read on an Aadhaar image you upload, our staff reject it, and it is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes for rejected identity documents. We do not carry out Aadhaar authentication or e-KYC.

5.4 ID and Selfie Processing Consent. You must accept this consent before you upload a government ID, Aadhaar, PAN or identity selfie. Our server refuses those uploads until you have accepted it.

5.5 Background check. The app asks for your consent to a background check. At present, giving consent only records it; no background check is run. If we start using a background-verification provider, we will tell you who the provider is and what it checks before we share any of your information with it.

5.6 Training. If the app marks a training module as required, you must complete it.

5.7 Review. Our staff review your application and documents. They either approve it, reject it with a reason, or ask you to upload particular documents again with a reason. You can go online only after your application is approved.

5.8 After approval. Once you are approved, your documents are locked, except your profile photo and identity selfie. To change any other document, contact us. If you change your vehicle or vehicle documents, our staff may review the change; you remain approved while they do.

5.9 Documents that expire. You can see each document's expiry date in the Documents screen of the app. If you have added an email address, we email you a reminder 7 days before a document with an expiry date expires. When a document expires, your account goes back to review and you are taken offline until a valid replacement is approved.

5.10 Re-verification. We may ask you to take a new identity selfie so that we can confirm that the person using the account is you.

6. Going online, location, zones and shifts

6.1 Online. Going online tells us you are available for offers. Only approved partners can go online.

6.2 Location. While you are online, the app shares your precise location with us, including (on Android) when the app is closed or the screen is off. We use it to offer you nearby deliveries, guide you to the restaurant and the customer, and show your progress to the restaurant and the customer. It stops when you go offline. You must allow precise location to go online, because we do not offer deliveries to a partner whose last location report is more than 60 seconds old, and we do not accept a location reading that is less accurate than 250 metres. If we receive no usable location from your phone for about 75 seconds, we switch you offline; go online again once your location is working.

6.3 Pause and planned end. You can pause new offers without going offline, now or after your current delivery. If you set a time to stay online until, we switch you offline at that time unless you are carrying a delivery.

6.4 Delivery area. You can limit the area in which you receive offers. If you do, we only offer you orders whose restaurant and delivery location are inside it.

6.5 Zones and shifts. We may publish shift slots in delivery zones, each with a limited number of places. You can book a slot, join a waitlist when it is full, or cancel a booking. If push notifications are on, we send a reminder about 15 minutes before a booked shift starts. We never switch you online; a shift counts as started only if you are online during it, and a booked shift during which you never go online is recorded as missed. A booking does not guarantee you any number of offers or any earnings. If we start limiting who can go online in a zone, we will tell you in the app before it applies.

7. Offers and assignment

7.1 How offers are allocated. Offers are allocated automatically. For each order, the system considers approved partners who are online, have reported their location in the last 60 seconds, cover the order's area, have room for another delivery, are not already considering another offer and, for a cash-on-delivery order, are within any cash limit that applies to them (section 12.6). It ranks those partners using three factors, weighted as follows at the date of these terms:

Until you receive your first rating, your average rating is treated as 5. The order is offered to the highest-ranked partner first, and to the next partner if the offer is declined or lapses. If an order is an add-on to an order you are already carrying, it is offered to you first, provided you meet the conditions above.

7.2 What an offer shows. You receive one offer at a time. An offer shows the restaurant's name and pickup address, the area (not the exact address) of the delivery location, the distances involved, an estimated time, whether the customer pays in cash and how much, the items, and the pay for the delivery, including any bonus and any tip as they stand when the offer is made. It does not show the customer's name or phone number.

7.3 Time limit. You must accept an offer within the time shown on it. If you decline an offer or let it lapse, you are not offered that same order again for a short time; this does not affect offers for other orders.

7.4 Declining. You never have to accept an offer. Declining an offer or letting it lapse lowers your acceptance rate, which is one of the ranking factors in section 7.1.

7.5 After you accept. When you accept, the delivery is assigned to you at the pay shown on the offer, and the app shows you the customer's name, phone number, full delivery address and any delivery instructions.

7.6 More than one delivery. We set how many deliveries you may hold at the same time, from 1 to 3.

7.7 Direct assignment. Our staff may assign a delivery to you directly. You may release it in the same way as any other delivery (section 7.8).

7.8 Releasing a delivery. Before you pick up the order, you can release the delivery in the app, giving a reason: vehicle breakdown, restaurant too slow, restaurant closed, order not ready, personal emergency, unsafe location, or other. A released delivery is not paid, and any waiting bonus attached to it is taken back. We do not offer you a delivery you have released, or one our staff took off you, again; our staff may still assign it to you directly. After you have picked up the order you cannot release it in the app; contact us, or return the order to the restaurant as set out in section 8.4.

7.9 Changes by us. Our staff may reassign or cancel a delivery, for example when it has stalled. The restaurant or the customer may also cancel an order.

8. Carrying out a delivery

8.1 Status. Update the delivery's status in the app as each step actually happens: arrived at the restaurant, picked up, and delivered. Never mark a step before it has happened.

8.2 Proof of delivery. To complete a delivery you need one of the following:

8.3 Age-restricted orders. If the app marks an order as age-restricted, ask the recipient for a valid photo ID before handing it over, and enter their date of birth in the app. The app does not let you complete the delivery if the recipient is under the minimum age shown. We do not store the date of birth you enter; we record only the outcome of the check and the name you enter. If you are not satisfied that the recipient is old enough, do not hand the order over.

8.4 Returns. If you cannot hand an order over (for example, the customer cannot be reached, refuses it, or the address cannot be found), return it to the restaurant as the app directs, recording the reason and a photo.

8.5 Waiting at the restaurant. You can report in the app that you are waiting at the restaurant. We use these reports to review restaurant delays; a report does not by itself change your pay.

8.6 Contacting the customer. Contact the customer only about the delivery, using the messages or the call option in the app.

9. Food handling and conduct

9.1 Food handling. You must:

9.2 Conduct. You must not:

9.3 Content you add. You must not upload, send, display or share through RestoMama Courier (including photos, messages, notes, appeals and your profile) any information that:

9.4 If you do not comply. If you do not comply with these terms or the Privacy Policy, we may immediately suspend or end your access to RestoMama Courier, remove the non-compliant information, or both. We will remind you of this at least once a year.

10. Safety

10.1 Your safety comes first. You do not have to continue a delivery if you believe that doing so would put you in danger. Before pickup, release it with the reason "unsafe location"; after pickup, contact us.

10.2 The app has an SOS button. Pressing it records a safety incident, with your location if the app can get it, for our operations team. It does not contact the police, an ambulance or any other emergency service. In an emergency, call 112.

10.3 You can add trusted contacts in the app and create a link that shows them your live location. A link expires after a set time (4 hours by default), and you can revoke it at any time. Before you add someone as a trusted contact, make sure they agree to it.

10.4 Report any accident, injury, harassment or threat that happens during a delivery to us as soon as you safely can, in the app or at admin@priorityqueues.com.

11. Earnings

11.1 When you earn. You earn pay for a delivery when you complete it. You are not paid automatically for an offer you declined, or for a delivery that was released, cancelled or returned to the restaurant; see section 11.8.

11.2 How the pay for a delivery is worked out. Pay for a delivery is worked out by one of the two methods below. Which method applies depends on the scheme we had in force when the restaurant's order reached us.

Under both methods, "distance" means the straight-line distance between the restaurant and the delivery location, not the road distance. The estimated time in (b) is the straight-line distance from the last location we received from your phone when you mark the order as picked up (or, if we have never received one, from the restaurant) to the delivery location, multiplied by 1.3 and divided by an average speed of 22 km/h, rounded up to whole minutes (at least 1 minute). These are the figures at the date of these terms.

The base amount and the distance amount for an order are fixed when the order reaches us, so a change to our rates applies only to orders received after the change. We will tell you our rates, and any change to them, before they apply.

11.3 Waiting bonus. Under the fare-share method, an offer for an order that has been waiting for a partner can include a bonus. The bonus rises by a set percentage of the delivery pay for every full step of waiting time since we first started offering the order, up to a cap. The Rewards screen in the app shows the current percentage, step and cap. The bonus shown on an offer is fixed when the offer is made, is paid when you complete the delivery, and is taken back if you release the delivery. No waiting bonus is paid on deliveries paid under the rate-card method, and offers for them do not include one.

11.4 Zone promotions. We may run promotions that pay a fixed extra amount for deliveries picked up in a named zone during stated days and times. The app lists current promotions. The promotion amount is fixed when the offer is made and paid when you complete the delivery.

11.5 Tips. You receive 100% of any tip a customer adds to an order you deliver. A customer can add a tip after the offer is made, so the tip on an offer is the amount at that moment.

11.6 Pay is fixed at the offer. The pay shown when you accept an offer is what you are paid when you complete the delivery, subject only to the lateness reduction in section 11.2(b) and to any later tip. We do not recalculate it afterwards.

11.7 Corrections. If we find an error in your earnings, we correct it with a separate adjustment entry that shows the reason in your earnings history. We never edit or delete an existing entry. An adjustment cannot take your earnings balance below zero.

11.8 Cancelled and returned deliveries. If a delivery is cancelled after you accept it, or you return an order to the restaurant, you are not paid for it automatically. We review returned orders and may pay you compensation, which appears as an adjustment with its reason.

11.9 Earnings records. The app shows your earnings history entry by entry, and a weekly pay statement for each week from Monday to Sunday (India time). The statement for the current week is a draft until the week ends.

11.10 Pending earnings. We may hold new earnings as "pending" for a period before they become available for payout. The app shows pending and available amounts separately.

11.11 Referrals. A referral code only records who referred you. No referral reward is paid unless we announce a referral programme with its own terms.

12. Cash on delivery

12.1 Whose cash it is. When a customer pays in cash, you collect that cash as our collection agent, for us and for the restaurant. It is not your money, except to the extent that it is set off against your earnings under section 12.4.

12.2 Collecting. Collect the exact amount the app shows. If the customer pays a different amount, record the amount you actually received and the reason in the app before you complete the delivery.

12.3 Your cash balance. When you complete a cash delivery, the cash you collected is added to your cash balance, which is the amount you owe us.

12.4 Daily set-off against your earnings. Once a day, we set your cash balance against your available earnings. We take the lower of the two amounts, reduce your cash balance by it, and reduce your earnings balance by the same amount. The effect is that you keep that much of the cash you collected as payment of those earnings. Both entries appear in your earnings history.

12.5 Depositing the rest. Any cash balance left after the set-off must be deposited within 48 hours, by one of these methods: handing it in at a cash collection point we name, a bank transfer, or a UPI payment to the account we name in the app or in writing. Record each deposit in the app with the amount, the method and a photo of the receipt (the Android app requires one; on the web app it is optional). A deposit reduces your cash balance only when our staff confirm that we have received it. If we cannot match a deposit, we reject it and tell you why.

12.6 Cash limit. We may set a limit on the cash balance you can hold. While your cash balance is at or above your limit, you do not receive offers for cash-on-delivery orders.

12.7 Effect on payouts. We pay out only your available earnings minus your cash balance (section 13.3).

12.8 Loss and non-deposit. You are responsible for cash in your custody. If it is lost or stolen, tell us at once and report any theft to the police; we will consider the circumstances before deciding whether to recover the amount from you. If you do not deposit cash you owe, we may stop sending you cash-on-delivery offers, suspend your account, set the amount off against your earnings, and recover it from you as the law allows.

13. Payouts

13.1 Payout method. You can register a bank account (account holder's name, account number and IFSC) or a UPI ID in the app. It must be in your own name. Our staff verify it, using your bank-account proof for a bank account, before we pay into it. A new payout method, or a change of your default method, can be used 24 hours later, or straight away if you confirm the change with a one-time code.

13.2 How we pay. Payouts are made by our staff, by bank transfer or UPI, to your verified default payout method. They are not automatic. We record the bank reference number of each payout, and it appears in your payout history. If a transfer fails, the amount is returned to your earnings balance.

13.3 How much we pay. We pay the available earnings on your account minus your cash balance. If your cash balance is equal to or more than your available earnings, nothing is payable until you deposit the difference.

13.4 When we pay. We pay out weekly, every Monday, for the earnings of the previous Monday-to-Sunday week. If Monday is a bank holiday, we pay on the next working day.

13.5 Instant cash-out. The app may show an instant cash-out option. It is not currently available. If we make it available, the app will show the fee, the limits and the amount you will receive before you confirm.

13.6 All amounts are in Indian rupees.

14. Social security for platform workers

14.1 The Code on Social Security, 2020 recognises "platform workers", meaning people who do platform work, and "aggregators", meaning businesses that connect them with customers through a digital platform (section 2 of the Code). Chapter IX of the Code provides for social security schemes for gig and platform workers, funded in part by contributions from aggregators (section 114).

14.2 You may register as a platform worker on the portal the Central Government provides for this purpose. Registration is your own and is not a condition of using RestoMama Courier.

14.3 Where the Code, and the rules and schemes made under it, apply to us, we will make the contributions and give the information about you and your work through us that they require.

14.4 We do not deduct any contribution we make under the Code from your earnings.

14.5 Some States have their own laws for platform-based gig workers. Where such a law applies to deliveries you make, we will comply with it.

15. Taxes

15.1 You are responsible for your own income tax, and for any Goods and Services Tax registration and tax that applies to you, on the amounts you earn through RestoMama Courier.

15.2 You can enter your PAN and your legal name in the app so that we can prepare tax and earnings documents for you.

15.3 Where the Income-tax Act, 2025 requires us to deduct tax at source from amounts we pay you, we deduct it, pay it to the government and give you the certificate that Act requires. If you have not given us your PAN, that Act may require us to deduct tax at a higher rate.

16. Ratings and complaints

16.1 After a delivery, the customer may rate it from 1 to 5 and add a comment. The app shows your average rating. Your average rating is one of the ranking factors for offers (section 7.1).

16.2 Restaurants and customers can complain about a delivery. Our staff review complaints and may contact you about them. We take a complaint into account in a decision about your account only after reviewing it.

17. Suspension, deactivation and appeal

17.1 Leaving. You may stop using RestoMama Courier at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, follow the RestoMama Courier Account Deletion Policy in the RestoMama legal centre.

17.2 Suspension by us. We may suspend your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, including:

17.3 Reasons. We record a reason for every suspension. If you are suspended, you can ask us for the reason at admin@priorityqueues.com.

17.4 What suspension means. While suspended, you cannot sign in or go online, and your current sessions are ended. Money you earned before the suspension remains payable, less your cash balance and any adjustment made under these terms.

17.5 Appeal. You can appeal a suspension from the sign-in screen of the app: enter your mobile number, confirm it with a one-time code we send by WhatsApp, and explain why the suspension should be lifted. Our staff review the appeal and either reinstate your account or refuse the appeal, with a note explaining the decision. We tell you the outcome by WhatsApp and in the app.

17.6 You can also raise a suspension, a deactivation or any other decision about your account with the Grievance Officer (section 22). Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt, and you can appeal the Grievance Officer's decision as section 22 describes.

17.7 Documents that expire are handled under section 5.9, not as a suspension.

18. Your information and customer information

18.1 The RestoMama Courier Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect about you and how we use it.

18.2 Customer names, phone numbers, addresses and instructions are shown to you only so that you can complete the delivery. You must keep them confidential and must not copy, keep or share them.

19. Use of the app

19.1 We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for making deliveries under these terms. You must not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app, interfere with how it works, or use the RestoMama name or logo except as we allow in writing.

19.2 We may change, suspend or stop any feature of the app. The number of offers depends on customer demand, and we do not guarantee you any number of offers or any level of earnings.

20. Liability

20.1 Nothing in these terms provides you with insurance cover of any kind. You are responsible for insuring yourself and your vehicle as the law requires.

20.2 You are responsible for your own vehicle and equipment, for complying with traffic and other laws, and for loss or damage you cause through your own fault while delivering. You agree to compensate us for direct loss we suffer as a result of your fraud, your wilful misconduct or your breach of section 9 or section 12.

20.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or opportunity.

20.4 Apart from the amounts we owe you for completed deliveries, our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the total amount we paid you for deliveries in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

20.5 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, our liability for fraud, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

21. Changes to these terms

21.1 We may update these terms. We will show you the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before it takes effect, except for a change that the law requires sooner or that is urgently needed for safety or security. If you do not accept a new version, you may stop using RestoMama Courier.

21.2 A change never reduces pay for a delivery you have already accepted.

22. Grievance Officer and contact

For any question, complaint or grievance about RestoMama Courier, contact our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, as rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires.

If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India within 30 days of receiving that decision, as rule 3A of those Rules provides.

23. Governing law and disputes

23.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India.

23.2 Before going to court, please raise any dispute with the Grievance Officer so that we can try to resolve it.

23.3 The courts at Palakkad, Kerala (including any Commercial Court for that district under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015) have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.

24. General

24.1 These terms, together with the other documents listed in section 1.2, are the whole agreement between you and us about RestoMama Courier.

24.2 If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply.

24.3 You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over the RestoMama Courier business, on terms that protect your rights under these terms.

24.4 If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

24.5 Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, riots, government orders or network failures.

24.6 We send notices to you in the app, by WhatsApp or by email. You can send notices to us at admin@priorityqueues.com or to our registered office.

Schedule 1 — Vehicle Insurance Declaration

By accepting this declaration in the app, you confirm that:

  1. if the vehicle you use for deliveries is a motor vehicle, it is insured at least against third-party risks as section 146 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 requires, and the policy covers use of the vehicle for making deliveries;
  2. you will keep that insurance valid for as long as you use the vehicle for deliveries; and
  3. you will stop delivering with the vehicle, and tell us, if its insurance lapses or is cancelled.

If you deliver by bicycle, this declaration does not apply to you. We do not check your declaration with an insurer. We may ask you to upload the vehicle's insurance document, and an insurance document with an expiry date is handled under section 5.9.
